In Remembrance

Hi Friends.

A quick and serious post.

I was reminded today that none of us know how many minutes we get in this life.  My mom is from a big, loving family with 13 brothers and sisters.  As a result, there are 44 first cousins.  I have such wonderful, crazy memories from growing up when we would all get together.  Really a special bond between all of the cousins.  Getting older with families of our own we don't get together very often any more - but we always know we are family.  Two years ago 126 of 265 family members attended a reunion - our picture is below.

I woke up to the news this morning that one of my cousins died unexpectedly yesterday.  He was only in his 40's. He and his wife have 3 children and expanded their family with the addition of 3 foster children.  A big heart that stopped much too soon.

Definitely a reminder to live in the moment and make the most of the minutes we are given.

Much love to everyone as we all do our best to enjoy the ride.
